My favorite is when a child becomes ill during the course of the day and no matter what the syptoms are their child is teething.
They could be throwing up and have a fever and you guessed it they are teething

We "don't let him watch TV" at home.

Provider drfinition: They spend quality time as a family playing games, reading, etc.
Parents definition: They only let dckid watch TV when they are "busy," consequently he knows ALL of the characters as well as ALL of the songs on the shows and even what's on at what time and what comes on next!


And my new favorite: Dckid has "allergies."

Provider definition: Dckid has a summer cold and soon so will all the other kids.
Parent definition: I don't want to admit that my kid has a cold and soon so will all the other kids so I make up lame excuses for the snot running down my kids face.
