Just wondering what your thoughts are or what you guys do to celebrate dck birthdays? I have my first one next week-turning 3 and then a first b-day later next month. Jess

I use to make bday banners on the computer to hang up. I use to make them a card and get a small gift. Like a coloring book and crayons.
Now I just buy a card and small gift. I did find some bday certificates at the dollar store. So I make sure to have 1 hanging by the sign in sheet for their bday.
The dcp's are welcome to bring in a small treat for snacktime...pm snack of course. Get them all sugared up and send them home. :)

We do a small party.

Cake & ice cream or sometimes ice cream sundaes, plates, etc and a small gift.

I make cupcakes and decorate them. After naptime we have a little party.
We sing Happy Birthday and play a few games.

At the end of day when the birthday child is going home I give them their gift.
